AZ-04 GOP House Candidate Richard Grayson Celebrates July 4th: "A Bunch of Slave-Owning, Aristocratic, Rich White Males Didn't Want to Pay Taxes!"

PHOENIX, July 2 - Richard Grayson, Republican candidate for the U.S. House in Arizona's Fourth Congressional District, tonight released a statement wishing "all Americans in his district, voters and nonvoters, citizens and non-citizens alike, the happiest of Independence Day holidays."

Grayson went on to say that the occasion was particularly resonant for members of the Grand Old Party:
In the immortal words of Dazed and Confused's excellent high school teacher Ms. Ginny Stroud: "OK guys, during the Fourth of July brouhaha, don't forget what you're celebrating — and that's the fact that a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic, white males didn't want to pay their taxes!"

¡Feliz 4 de julio!

Grayson is running as a state-certified write-in candidate in the September 2 primary against Don Karg.
